About

Catholic Social Service Society (CSSS) of Jammu & Kashmir, India is a charitable society registered under the Societies Registration Act VI of 1998 (J&K) and bearing no. 618-S of 1981. Established in 1981 and secular in its nature, the society is the official social development wing of the Diocese of Jammu – Srinagar in the State of Jammu & Kashmir. Established with the purpose of addressing the social, economic, political and cultural issues of the marginalized people irrespective of caste, creed and class and sex, CSSS operates in several districts of the state in the areas of community development, livelihood, women empowerment, community health, disability, disaster risk reduction and peace education.
